Avian Acres is situated on 100+ acres near Rockwood, ON, and is easily accessible from the GTA, Milton, Acton, Erin, Guelph, Fergus and Campbellville. The farm boasts a magnificent 215' by 70' indoor arena, large sandring, large grass ring with cross country fences, and lots of hacking.
Ashlea King is the coach and manager of the farm and offers lessons in the disciplines of eventing, hunter/jumper, and dressage. Ashlea is coached by Peter Gray: a level 4 coach, active competitor and former Olympian. Ashlea's teaching style uses positive, yet challenging reinforcement. It focuses on the rider and their position, on confidence, and on proper horsemanship. Ashlea conditions riders to have strong basics, which will help them in every aspect of riding. Whether you want to ride for pleasure, enter the show ring, jump x-country or school at home, Avian Acres can accommodate you.
