Avian Acres is a first class training facility for riders and horses in the disciplines of eventing and hunter. The farm is situated on 100+ acres near Rockwood, Ontario. It is accessible from the GTA, Milton, Acton, Erin, Guelph, Fergus and Campbellville.
Since its conception, Ashlea King has been the coach and manager of Avian Acres. Ashlea is coached by Peter Gray: a level 4 coach, active competitor and former Olympian. Ashlea's teaching style uses positive, yet challenging reinforcement. It focuses on the rider and their position, on confidence, and on proper horsemanship. Ashlea conditions riders to have strong basics, which will help them in every aspect of riding. Whether you want to ride for pleasure, enter the show ring, jump x-country or school at home, Avian Acres can accommodate you.
